Therapeutic Guidelines Limited is an independent not-for-profit organisation that was founded by leading members of the healthcare community over 40 years ago. Therapeutic Guidelines Limited aims to promote the quality use of medicines, and it does this by publishing Therapeutic Guidelines and Australian Prescriber. Therapeutic Guidelines is a widely used and highly regarded point-of-care clinical reference database covering over 2500 diagnoses. Australian Prescriber is a free, evidence-based journal that covers a broad range of topics addressing the intersection of quality use of medicines, diagnostics, and pathology.
With exciting initiatives taking place, we now have an opportunity for a full time Marketing and Events Specialist to join our Sales and Marketing team, reporting to our Digital Marketing Manager. The Marketing and Events Specialist will be responsible for the coordination of marketing activities for Therapeutic Guidelines products including assisting with events, social media, advertising, email marketing and conferences. You will be the champion for TGL’s customers, new and existing, represent TGL at conferences and events and provide exemplary customer service and support (e.g. helping customers to activate or renew their subscriptions).
The candidate
As the ideal candidate, you will bring to the role excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong project management and organisational skills, a collaborative mindset and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners. You are experienced in advertising or marketing fields, can coordinator online or in-person events and conferences, have experience in using CRM (customer relationship management) systems, event management platforms and proficient in the use of social media, content creation and other marketing tools.
